Josh and Caley are adorable together. It started raining just prior to the wedding. But they didn’t let these Hawaiian sprinkles change their plans. We headed down to Ironwood Beach for a beautiful ceremony with a dusting of Hawaiian rain and beautiful purple/pink clouds. As the sun went down, the water turned aqua and the sky turned an intense pink. It was an absolutely beautiful evening for a Maui wedding!

The day started with a beautiful gift – a gift from Carey’s son to Scott. A special boutonniere with a charm of his parents. It was lovely and heartfelt. The room where Carey got ready for the ceremony was tiny and bustling with anticipation.

The ceremony in the church was dimly lit, lovely, and heartfelt.

Carey put so many beautiful details into the reception. From the homemade grape jelly to the wishing tree, to the cakes…everything was absolutely beautiful.

The ceremony site was beautiful! Vicki did her own coordinating, decorating, and even made her wedding cakes! She did an amazing job!

The ceremony time came and went and we quickly lost all light of the evening. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Vicki arrived about an hour later than we had all anticipated and the wedding ceremony took place in complete darkness. But Vicki and Richard didn’t let it get their spirits down and exchanged beautiful vows in a beautifully written ceremony. After the ceremony, I whisked them away to the vintage mill for their images as a married couple. They both love the show Deadwood, so we went for a vintage, western type look to the images. They are so in love and so lovely together. It was an absolute honor to photograph this day for them.

The reception was lovely inside the Zedler Mill Hall.

Congratulations Vicki and Richard!!

The light was gorgeous after the ceremony when we walked out to the point. The newlyweds were totally smitten with each other. The reception was a ball. Floyd pulled a huge surprise and sang “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5 to Alyssa.

The next in Alyssa and Floyd’s wedding series is their beautiful ceremony!

Truthfully, their wedding was what started my homesickness. The more I thought about Maui, the more I missed it and NEEDED Maui.

Their wedding at the Royal Lahaina in Ka’anapali was lovely and heartfelt. I enjoyed seeing them together and playing with their son, Cade, who is the cutest little man! Everyone in attendance was so much fun to be around.

I heard from Crystal yesterday that her father had passed away (pictured in the top set of images). My heartfelt condolences and prayers are going out to her entire family.

The casual ceremony took place overlooking Napili Bay on the sand berm as Cathy and Bruce were surrounded by their son and grandson and many friends and family. The ceremony was so sweet and perfect and so them.

After the ceremony, guests were all treated to a beautiful polynesian show by Te Tiare Patitifa. It was such a beautiful evening. Thank you again, Cathy and Bruce, for having me photograph such a special occasion!

Jill and Judd had a beautiful ceremony right along the Blanco River complete with a sand ceremony to bind their new family. Guests were having a wonderful time chatting and catching up and visiting. It was a very laid back, perfect wedding in such a gorgeous setting.

Congratulations Jill and Judd! You make a beautiful couple and I was so thrilled to be there with you and your families to celebrate this special day!

Wendy described her wedding to me as “Hill Country Chic” and she did a wonderful job pulling together beautiful colors and elements to make this wedding absolutely beautiful. The Horseshoe Bay Yacht Club provided an exquisite backdrop to the days festivities.

I arrived to capture Wendy preparing for the ceremony. I was told that the beautiful pin (middle right) is in it’s 101′st year of being with a bride on her wedding day. Very special, indeed!

Wendy was then  whisked into hiding while the guests arrived and readied themselves for the wedding. Peter and I got to get into the reception area to capture the beautiful place settings and decor. The room was elegant and beautiful.

The ceremony was absolutely lovely. It was filled with beautiful readings, an amazing song, and loving gazes between the couple and all of their guests. After the ceremony, the sun was beginning it’s decent quickly and Peter and I got the couple all to ourselves for some portraits out on the docks.

Throughout the reception it was my goal to not only capture this loving couple, but also the many family and friends that traveled out to spend this joyous day with them. I loved this group – everyone was having such a wonderful time, was engaged in conversation and laughter, and were such a joy to be around. It was truly a wonderful experience to photograph this wedding – everyone was just so fabulous!
