It is official! Kai has finally touched the Maui ocean, for which he was named. He LOVES it. I am still getting over my jet-lag, but we had a wonderful time at the beach and I just had to hop on and post this image, which I am totally in love with. I took this with the diaper bag camera. I will take out the big camera more as I’m starting to feel better. I also have a shoot coming up that I am really looking forward to!! Ah yes… and the blog is getting a little makeover. Stay tuned!

Why they   always put crazy linings on them with creases and thread, I will never understand. It’s always been a battle keeping them clean. Not to mention how big they often are! And the colors! Eeek… like I really want a bright turquoise, red, and yellow thing right in the dining room… geesh.

Enter fabulous Ikea…. this chair is a breath of fresh air for me. Not only does Kai LOVE it, but it is the easiest thing to clean in the world and has such a modern appearance. It’s almost NICE to look at it!

And the best part??? $25 buckaroos. Now that’s a steal!

Yes, I like it. No… maybe I should have retitled this post “THINGS I LOVE”.
