Rainy Maui Photo Shoot
This December has been… well… rainy. A lot rainy. It is winter in Maui, but it sure makes it difficult when the entire island is pouring. What to do… what to do?
This was actually the third time we had rescheduled this session and as we walked down to the beach we commented on how gorgeous it was – overcast, but not raining. And then…. downpour. I kid you not. For the first time EVER, there was a waterfall at Ironwood Beach!
We had a moment to look at each other, already soaking wet, laughed a little, maybe cried internally just a bit, and then decided since we were wet anyway we might as well go for it.

It probably didn’t turn out the way they envisioned it, or the way I had, but boy did we laugh! And we adventured all over the cliffs at Ironwood. This one will go down in the books for sure – we went out to pizza with them afterward and then the Pali was closed due to a rockslide. We’ll be laughing and remembering this rainy photo shoot for YEARS no doubt!
