Ulua Beach Maui Sunset

It’s been a couple years since I’ve seen Leyla and her gorgeous family. The last time I photographed them I felt a total connection. We kept in touch via social media and Leyla’s awesome blog Second City Mom. I really enjoyed watching her little man grow and live vicariously through all their travels. And I’ve never been to Chicago, so it’s been really fun to see her beautiful city through her eyes.

When she told me they were coming back to Maui I was elated! And walking up to our meeting spot, it wasn’t like meeting up with a client, it was meeting up with friends. And let me tell you… the sunset was epic. The light was magical. It was SO MUCH FUN.

We couldn’t let them leave Maui without another quick visit, so I was super happy when they met up with us for breakfast at one of my favorite hole in the walls, Sam Sato’s to try the famous dry mein with noodles made right here on Maui. Thanks so much you guys – can’t wait to see you again!! xoxoxo
