It is pretty awesome to be asked to photograph a wedding for a couple who decided to fly half way around the world to get married on Maui. I admit, Maui is pretty darn amazing! Siobhan and Thomas wanted to marry on Maui with the ocean around them, soft breezes in the air, and a beautiful sunset. I think the flight was worth it as we had a beautiful afternoon at the White Orchid Beach House in Makena. I loved hearing them talk – Aussie accents! – and even more than that, I loved watching them laugh together and see how happy they were.
Siobhan’s dress had a beautiful crystal encrusted dragonfly on the bodice – it was gorgeous for a beach wedding. They said their vows under the palms with a lovely ceremony officiated by Rev. Tino Rosete. We ended the evening with a lovely sunset. Congratulations Siobhan and Thomas! Loved meeting you both!
