Maui Wedding: Stephanie & Patrick at Kea Lani, Makena Cove, and Naupaka Beach

I knew that this wedding was going to be special because Stephanie took great care in letting me know what she likes (yay for Pinterest!), but in a way that isn’t pushy (super important). I was thrilled that we could shoot their elopement in such spectacular locations. The preparation and first look were at the Fairmont Kea Lani (which if you’ve never been, has some of the most beautiful photographic light ever!). We then headed off to Makena Cove for their wedding ceremony amidst lava rocks and crashing waves. The South Swell was actually pretty big, so sea spray was in the air. The wedding ceremony was very emotional and filled with many happy tears as Stephanie and Patrick said their vows and also presented their beautiful daughter with a ring to let her know that they will always be there for her.

After the ceremony, we headed to one of my favorite places, Naupaka Beach. You haven’t seen this spot on my site often. The shoots that I have done here have all been very private people and I wasn’t able to put them on the web – but… I was so stoked that Stephanie wanted to go here because it’s a really special place.

Congratulations Stephanie, Patrick, and sweet “K”. Congratulations on your first 10 years together and wishing you a lifetime of happiness ahead. It was wonderful being a part of your amazing wedding day! XOXO
