Kapalua Bay Maui Photographer

I met up with Shawna and Gianni for their vow renewal at Kapalua Bay. It was an incredible morning – the light was peeking over the West Maui mountains and giving the most perfect light for these two to exchange their vows on Kapalua Bay. Luckily, we had the entire beach practically to ourselves.

The ceremony was officiated by Keli’i of Opihi Weddings. His beautiful Hawaiian chanting was perfect for their ceremony. Shawna and Gianni were googoo eyed through the entire ceremony and really took in every word that was said. I enjoyed how their ceremony included time for them to look around at their surroundings and soak up all the beauty and the love that is surrounding them.

After the ceremony we got to play on the beach a bit. I loved hearing their love story – it was love at first sight. These two have one of those loves that is straight from a storybook. And they are so much fun! We had fits of laughter going as we tried to get a serious look and Gianni kept giggling. I love it when I can connect with clients like this and it’s just so much fun!
