When we think of sunrise, we often think of a fresh start, of new beginnings. For R’s Maui senior photos, we wanted to capture that feeling of hopefulness and possibility. Our girl who grew up in Taiwan dreamed of coming to the US for high school. This is a celebration of her accomplishments. She has a natural youthful glow and an easy smile, but she is also becoming a confident young woman dreaming of wonderful things to come. We took her senior photos at Sugar Beach, with the sunrise in the background. It was the perfect setting to capture this point in time between child and woman. She looks toward the future with hope and excitement, and we are so proud of all she has accomplished.

She loved one of our sunrise senior photography portraits and said that’s what she wanted to have. Luckily, we were available for their date and time and couldn’t have been more thrilled! We love sunrise photography as the sun is just peeking over the horizon, giving the most beautiful, natural lighting. Plus, it’s always a bit cooler so you’re not sweating by the end of the session! It was lovely getting to know this sweet girl and we hope they cherish these images for a lifetime.
