I LOVE i t when I hear from past clients. Even if it’s just a “hello” or “how are you?” type note. Always makes me happy… Anyway, I got a note from Kathy and Dave asking if I was still on Maui or in Texas. I photographed them three years ago at Kapalua Bay and they are soooo sweet. I let them know that I’m now in Texas but was heading to Maui on vacation.
It just so happened that they were going to be there at the same time! So we made arrangements and met at the Sheraton and made our way to Airport Beach.
The afternoon was beautiful and the tradewinds were perfect. It was wonderful to be outside and to catch up with them. Kathy serves in the military reserves and spent one year assigned to Oahu before returning to Florida with Dave. It was wonderful to catch up and capture these new moments for them.
And while I was on Maui, the GIVINGisAWESOME campaign was active. Thank you so much Kathy and Dave for your generous donation to the Kapiolani Women & Children’s Center. Very much appreciate your kokua. Okay… now some pictures!!

That’s so cool when schedules work out like that. To be able to have a session someplace you don’t live with other people is really special. That last image (with the palm tree) is wonderful.
