I don't just "take pictures" - I give you something to feel.
I don’t believe in ordinary. Every story, every love, every face holds something raw, something honest, something worth remembering. I photograph the ones who don’t always see themselves reflected, the ones who crave something deeper than posed perfection. My work is for those who live in the quiet, the bold, the in-between. Portland, Maui, anywhere—you deserve to see yourself the way the people who love you do. Not just for today, but for all the days you’ll look back and remember.

With a commitment to inclusivity, I welcome clients of all backgrounds, orientations, and identities. Every story deserves to be seen with honesty and care. My goal is to create images that feel like home, that honor who you are, exactly as you are.
My work has been published in Rangefinder Magazine, Professional Photographers of America Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, Pacific Weddings Magazine, and homes across the globe, which is my most favorite of all of my accomplishments.
As I edit, I often catch myself thinking,
“What an honor to hold these pieces of their story.” While simultaneously taking dance breaks.
I see beauty in the quiet, the chaotic, and everything in between.
Art is everywhere.
I love the unexpected and the beautifully weird—the things that make you, you. Nostalgia, honest connection, and the energy of simply being yourself inspire everything I create. Grand hotel, nostalgic backyard, or neighborhood bar—anything can be a backdrop when it’s about the people, not the place. Let's romanticize everything, shall we?
On a personal note, I’m embracing my silver hairs and chasing light every day. You’ll often find me curled up on the couch with my fiancé, Ikaika, or cooking something delicious for my near-adult kids. I’m equally passionate about coffee and tea (so don’t make me choose), and I refuse to pick sides in the cats vs. dogs debate—I love my fur babies just the same.

Silly things about me
09. what is your biggest strength in being visible online?
Showing up as myself every day. I love showing that vulnerability can also be a strength and showing my clients how beautiful they are.
- A 1930s or 1940s maximalist dream with slightly goth granny undertones. (Winner—because, obviously.)
- A sleek, modern glass house… where I’d immediately regret the lack of cozy nooks.
- A boho jungle filled with plants I’d absolutely forget to water.
- A whimsical cottagecore fantasy—except I’d trip over all the vintage rugs.

It’s not just a cliché—it’s a truth that sneaks up on you. Time moves faster than you think, slipping through your fingers even as you try to hold on. Once a moment comes, it’s already on its way out. Pay attention. Be here now.
06. what's a piece of advice that has shaped you?
- Taylor Swift anthems mixed with some Alina Baraz and bangers for main character energy. (Winner—because, obviously.)
- A chaotic mix of indie folk, early 2000s emo, and the occasional dramatic film score for emotional depth.
- Whatever Spotify Wrapped says, plus that one song I heard in a café and will never find again.
- Mostly vibey, sometimes dramatic, occasionally unhinged—just like life

Waking up to discover my family never existed. It's a heavy one.
