Turning complex work into clear progress.

People-Centered Change

Helping teams align priorities, improve communication, navigate complexity, and move important work forward.

Meaningful work succeeds when people communicate clearly, priorities stay aligned, risks are addressed early, and teams know what they're working toward.

That's the work I've spent the last decade refining.

Sometimes through project and program management.

Sometimes through operational structure and process improvement.

And often through helping teams move forward when the path isn't obvious.

Complex work depends on more than timelines.

The environments may look different.
The work tends to follow a pattern.

Managing complex, cross-functional work.

Improving systems that support progress.

Strengthening communication between teams and stakeholders.

Helping leadership teams turn ideas into action.

Supporting people while still holding accountability.

Navigating competing priorities, risk, and friction before they slow progress.

A few places this work has shown up:

What I started as a small operation supporting around 60 projects each year grew into a team delivering more than 300 annually, while maintaining a 98% on-time delivery rate and a consistent five-star client experience.

Along the way, I redesigned booking, onboarding, and internal workflows, reducing administrative workload by 40% and saving more than 30 hours each week. Those systems created the capacity to grow without sacrificing quality or responsiveness.

As the business expanded, I hired and developed a team of 10, creating the structure, clarity, and accountability needed to support sustainable growth and consistent delivery.

Meet Me at the Beach - Hawaii

Led cross-functional UX research  and project initiatives for enterprise clients including Samsung, Intel, and VinFast, helping teams translate human behavior into better products and experiences.

As a project manager, I helped navigate the complexity that comes with global teams, competing priorities, and fast-moving projects. Insights from this work contributed to the cockpit experience for VinFast's first electric vehicle as well as Samsung Smart Home's product offerings.

Particle Design - Portland

Joined Madroit as a Project Manager during a period of rapid growth and complexity, bringing structure to high volume, cross functional work spanning operations, web development, SEO, paid media, reporting, and client delivery.

Within the first year, I eliminated a multi month project backlog, improved on time completion rates, and redesigned key workflows that strengthened accountability and increased productivity across teams. I also partnered with leadership to redesign the client onboarding process, creating a framework that protects both client experience and the business itself.

Throughout it all, the focus has remained the same: creating clarity, reducing friction, and helping people move important work forward.

Ongoing consulting partnership acting as a de facto Chief of Staff for a founder scaling a wedding services business across multiple PNW regional markets.

I set brand and SEO strategy and direct the specialists executing it - website development, content, and a service-area growth model being rolled out market by market.

The work is ongoing, with strategy and execution continuing to drive organic growth as new markets come online.

Leadership looks different in hard moments.

On August 8, 2023, I escaped the Lahaina Fire alongside thousands of others whose lives changed in an instant. While navigating displacement and uncertainty in my own life, I stepped into a crisis response role, coordinating donation logistics and connecting families to mental health resources across the community.

Working alongside volunteers, therapists, nonprofits, and community partners, I helped build ad hoc systems that got support to people fast, often ahead of formal infrastructure. That meant real time triage of need, tracking resources across multiple partner organizations, and making sure information reached people who had no reliable way to access it.

The experience reinforced something I already believed: good operations, whether in a business or a crisis, should always be human-centered, and the best systems are the ones built to work when everything else has broken down.

It also shaped the decision to eventually leave Maui and continue growing beyond the islands, carrying my roots, my values, and my sense of Kuleana (Responsibilty/Stewardship) into new communities and new systems of work.

currently exploring what's next.

I'm exploring opportunities in public sector, operations, project and program management, and mission-driven organizations.

I also take on select consulting work supporting teams that need structure, alignment, and forward movement.
