I adore this family. How could I not? They are a part of my family. My husband’s Aunt and Uncle. They took me in when I came to the Bay Area to photograph Staci and Alex’s wedding. I actually hadn’t seen Auntie Yolly and Uncle Jeff in several years. This was the first time I got to meet their amazing children, Keanu and Chloe. After flying from Austin I was starting to miss my own kidlets and Keanu and Chloe picked up on it right away. They became my buddies. They held my hand and snuggled with me when I needed it. They were a source of immense light and beauty in my time in San Francisco.

Thank you – mahalo – to this beautiful, sweet, sweet family for all the  hospitality while I was in the City by the Bay. It was therapy for my soul. Love you guys.

Cherry blossoms? Why yes! You don’t even have to ask me twice to head to some cherry blossoms!They are gifted – every single one of them is incredibly photogenic.

When we went to the beach the wind had picked up and it was FREEZING. They all went barefoot in the sand. I had my jacket on and I was ccccold.

Quite possibly my favorite image of the shoot – Keanu didn’t want to see them kissing! So thrilled I got this in time.
