Maui Engagement

Skye and James are such a beautiful couple. They got engaged in French Polynesia and will be wed in Canada later this spring. They thought a little winter trip to Maui would be right up their alley for some time together and some beautiful engagement photos.

I have to say that they are also quite the troopers! After a morning of things not going quite as planned, we were finally able to meet up for the session. This was a bit later in the morning than I usually recommend (hello sunscreen!) but they did so amazing in the bright light.

We started out with their sweet rental car for some fun on the road and then headed to Palauea for some beautiful beach images and a picnic. I love the tone of these images – you can feel the love between these two. Congratulations on your engagement you two! XO
