Maui Tropical Plantation Wedding

My little brother got married! My brother, Nico, is two years younger than me. We are very close. If you go back into the family photo albums, you’ll find us both snorkeling in the bathtub, playing at the beach, riding bikes together, solving “mysteries”, playing in the mud. My brother, who we all lovingly call “Pickle”, has always been one of my very best friends. He is an amazing gardener, a fisherman, a boat designer and fiberglass craftsman. He is totally amazing. And he found someone to share his life with, which is so wonderful.

When Pickle and Abra asked me to photograph there wedding, I was a little sad that I wouldn’t get to experience this event as a guest – I’d be “working” and miss it. Luckily I was able to put the camera down after the ceremony and just enjoy. Dance. Eat. Play. Watch the two of them googly eyed over each other. It was beautiful.
