I went outside tonight and gazed upon the giant moon as it rose over the fence in my backyard. It was so beautiful.

It reminds me so much of the conversations that I have with Ryenne. She is growing so big and so smart.

She says, “How much do you love me, Mama?”

And I tell her “To the moon and back”

She says that is a very long way away. She thinks for a moment, and then she says,

“You know how much I love you?” her eyes are sparkling. I say, “How much?”

and she says, “All the way to Heaven”

The moon will always be special to me for it reminds me so much of Ryenne – my beautiful little girl.
